Hot Zoo

We battled the insane heat today to go to the zoo with my sister and her fiance. They came for the weekend so that my sis could help me put on my wedding dress and help with the bridal pictures. It was a lot of fun!

See, this is why I want the rest of his hair to catch up so I don't have to cut it. He has awesome curls in the back when they are not totally frizzy. But if the rest of his hair doesn't start growing soon, he is going to have one fine mullet, lol!

It was so hot that this squirrel was just laying out on the pavement like this. I thought it was dead before we got up closer. I've never seen a squirrel lay like this!

The BEST part of the day. They let us come in a feed the giraffe and pet him. It was so cool! I've been there so many times this past year, and have never been able to do that!
